Here, the Scrum Values are our ally – when each team member truly embodies the five Scrum values then the team becomes an unstoppable equitable force.
A leader’s job is to facilitate education and infrastructure improvements, empower teams, and manage change as the entire organization works to continuously improve. Achieving agility is a major investment, but the beauty of Agile is in its team-driven momentum. When done well, driving innovation doesn’t involve pushing teams as much as it does getting out of their way.
It’s not just the organizational structure and processes that will make a company function well. This is where you also have to deal with culture. Ultimately, the recipe for the sauce is to be deliberate when you are creating organizations, systems, processes, and culture.
